Background
Laurie holds an MBA and CMO from CEIBS, a Doctorate of Business Administration from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Dr. Laurie Ann Underwood is the co-author, with Juan A. Fernandez, of China CEO (Wiley, 2006), China Entrepreneur (Wiley, 2009), China CEO II (Wiley, 2020). She has served as a researcher on the annual CEIBS CSR White Paper for 2021, 2020, and 2019 editions. Laurie is also a Sr Consultant with Sino-Associates, delivering customized training programs and individual coaching to clients including Air Liquide, AmCham Shanghai, and others. She recently spoke as an invited guest on TEDx The Bund (September 2020), AmCham Shanghai (July 2020), Economist Network (August 2020), Women in Business Forum (Shenzhen, July 2019)
Teaching Experience
Laurie is Sr. Associate Professor of Management (Adjunct) at IBSS (International Business School Suzhou) and is a visiting professor/instructor with Kedge Business School, Skema Business School, NYU Shanghai, teaching in the Executive Education, EMBA, IMBA, and undergraduate programs. Her areas of teaching including Leadership Skills for Today’s China, Business Acumen & Communications, International Marketing, Relationship Marketing, Corporate Communications.
